Dr. Troy Humphreys

Dr. Troy Humphreys, the son of Dr. Denis Humphreys and husband to Dr. Becky Humphreys, received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996. He received his doctorate of Optometry with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2000. Dr. Humphreys received his fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2005. Dr. Humphreys was the Nevada Optometric Association Doctor of Optometry of the Year in 2016, and is president-elect of the Nevada Optometric Association. Dr. Humphreys has interests in general medical eyecare, dry eye treatments, refractive surgery management including LASIK, PRK, and Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICLs), and spent internships at Bassett Community Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska and the Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Bellevue, Washington. Dr. Humphreys enjoys the outdoors and is an avid skier, hiker, and mountain biker and enjoys sharing these passions with his wife and two young children. He is a licensed private pilot and loves to explore the skies above the Western US. He further enjoys traveling to provide eyecare to the less privileged. He has served thousands of patients in Costa Rica, Honduras, and Mexico during the past 10 years, and will continue to do so.
