Dr. Samer Khalil is a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Saint Louis University and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Drexel University. Dr. Khalil provides comprehensive optometric care with a focus on dry eye treatment, contact lens fitting, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He gained valuable clinical experience through rotations at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, surgical eye care co-management offices, and private practice with an emphasis on binocular vision and traumatic brain injury assessments. Dr. Khalil is a member of the American Optometric Association and is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality vision care to the Northern Nevada community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Khalil enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog, cooking, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
